I began my journey as a Massage Therapist by seeking treatment for related injuries from my time as a dancer. Inspired by my own deep fascination with the human body's incredible capacity to heal, I attended Panacea school of integrative health. I graduated in 2015 and received my license in early 2016. Since then, I have expanded my education on traditional Swedish massage techniques, Myofascial release, Trigger-point therapy, and have achieved certifications in Craniosacral levels I&II.
I grew up in Central Maine since birth and I have always found a deep connection to the natural world around me. When I graduated from Zardus School Of Massage, I wanted to bring natural wellness opportunities to my community. My approach to bodywork stems from studies of holistic wellness, human anatomy and its functions. My time out of the office is spent hiking, exploring, and spending time with my animals and family.
I grew up in southern Maine, where I discovered the love for the holistic approach to massage that I bring to you today. I’ve had several years of working in Chiropractic offices. There, I found my true desire for massage that led me to build a community based business. I graduated from Massage Therapy school at Zardus School of Massage in Gardiner, Maine and founded the business Heart of a Willow in 2022. Each year, I continue my knowledge in different modalities to better serve my community.
Heart of a Willow is in search of talented individuals to join our team. We are looking for professionals that offer Nail Tech services, Lash Tech services, Teeth Whiting services, another part time hair specialist If you or anyone you know would be great at any of these, please reach out by contacting us! We are also in search of an Aesthetician who can work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.
My curiosity for the function of the body started at a young age. Independently, I studied anatomy which taught me how the body can self heal. My curiosity lead to a more formal education and licensure for Therapeutic Massage in 2018. Since then, I've combined my love of travel and massage, visiting 5 continents for continued education. I specialize in using a duality of techniques by blending Cranialsacral, Neuromuscular, and Myofascial work in my sessions.
